Kiting Rig for sale
Thought I'd post this here before I put it on the big sites. 1 each large Paratech A5 harness in very good condition. This is nearly the same as the newer A6. I hold an FAA Senior Rigger rating and used to build harness' so I looked at this guy carefully. Also a "Wings of Change" Taifun Medium size ...

Membership question
I was about use the online membership application form when I realized the membership term was a Calender year instead of 12 month. I think it was always like that, but it used to be prorated if joining later in the year. Question: Is it still prorated and who would I contact to find out/send the mo...

Hi Hangwind, Thanks to your advice I actually found my harness and recently a wing. The wing was a $250 delivered perfectly serviceable for Kiting ONLY (OK maybe 3 feet up) practice. It's a 2002 Wings of Change Taifun DHV1-2 I absolutely do NOT intended to do this without quality instruction. It's j...

Thanks John, I know that's good advice. I retired as professional pilot and worked for FlightSafety as an instructor for almost a decade. I've looked at both the sites you mentioned and many years ago attended Eagle's predecessor in Santa Barbara for a Hang Glider refresher. The Utah site may be a l...

Hi, I'm an old HG member from the early days. I was also a 30 year skydiver, and for bad back reasons just cannot hoist a HG up in a wind without risking a weeks agony or worse. Anyway, Ive decided to try Paragliding. I've already bought a nice used PG harness and have been looking for a beat up win...

Looking for old/non flyable? paraglider/harness for Kiting
I'm looking for any size paraglider but a large or XL harness.
I just want it for Kiting practice, it will NOT be flown so condition
can be very marginal. It's got to be cheap.

Thanks for the replies. Eric if you didn't have an old log book in front of you when you rattled off all those names then you've got one heck of a spectacular memory. It brought back good feelings and memories. I'm getting closer and closer to to doing this. Think I'll come to a meeting next month, ...

My names Al Litzow and I was one of the first 20 members. I've been monitoring this site for years trying to talk myself into a paraglider. I had over 2000 parachute jumps, but I don't know if this helps or hinders. Any way my best buddy was Bill Allen and his wife Mary and until recently I used to s...
