Arizona Flying Circus update

Post by Mo » Sat Jan 29, 2005 12:54 am

Momentum is really picking up for the Arizona Flying Circus. The event is scheduled to take place February 10-13, 2005 about 35 miles south of Phoenix at Phoenix regional Airport on a carpet of 100 acres of grass.

With over 25 sponsors and vendors, the event is looking to become one of the nation's largest PPG gatherings. We are expecting many of the major PPG manufactures to be present, along with well over 100 pilots, food, 8 informative seminars, media, hot air balloons, RC demonstrations, cross country flights, a USPPA competition, a controlled thrust test, a raffle of cool prizes, bonfires, music, and of course lots of flying.

The weather in the last few weeks has been awesome, in the lower 80's to the upper 60's. In fact the last few days I and other pilots flew in a T-shirt.

See you out at the carpet of grass in the warm desert skies.
