Great day flying with Gunter. Caught some nice thermals (3 m/s) which capped at 5K at the inversion layer. Smooth day. Flew the new Airwave Sport 2 glider. Great sink rate for a DHV 1-2 and glide. Wanging it took a bit more energy then my Sig 5. Full frontals, asymetric collapases with 80% gone does make the wing dive but recovery was fast. No full stall do to it wasnt my wing. It is extremely difficult to SAT. Fun recreational glider. Gunter would but his Mom on. Good chatting with you Gunter. You have to come back to your home sites in SCal, your getting soft!!
