The forecast for Thursday looks promising, both for newer pilots looking for some morning flying with gentle lift and for others hoping to get up and go somewhere. Our first choice would be to lure a tow rig to Eloy, but failing that we might make a play for Mt. Lemmon. The latter option, unfortunately, does not provide a flying opportunity for the newer pilots, but we’d be happy to have you join us for the hike to see the launch and get a site briefing.

Re: Thursday Flying (March 12th)
Aaron has confirmed that we can tow from Eloy. He plans to be out there by 9:00 a.m., so I would encourage the newer pilots to be there by 8:45 a.m. to get set up and prepared to fly as soon as the winch arrives.
Ewan and I are hoping to go XC when it turns on, so we would appreciate having a driver to chase us.
*** Note: we're towing at Park Link Road, SE of Newman.
