Oatman Fly-in March 13 & 14
Moderators:ioan, John Wolfe, aaroncromer, jlowery
I'm thinking about going to the Oatman fly-in. I will decide tomorrow (Friday) evening. If I go, I plan to leave early Saturday morning and if enough people stay for Sunday I plan to return on Sunday after flying.
Anybody that wants to join me, please post or fell free to call me to make arrangements.

Oatman Fly-in
Got word that the road across the Gila at Oatman Mt. is washed out. You will need to take the next exit West of Painted Rock Rd. Go about 15 miles to the Sentinal/Hyder exit. Take Agua Caliente Rd North another 14 miles or so till you see the railroad tracks and Hyder Rd. Turn right and follow the tracks about 6 miles or so until you see Rocky Point Rd on your right. Take this road to Oatman.

Oatman Fly-in
It was a good time.
We had about 20 people total, 7 PG pilots & 5 HG pilots flew Saturday. First launch started around 11:00AM and the last one landed sometime around 4:00PM. No one flew Sunday except Randy's RC.
This is a link to my photos and short video clips. Make sure to have your beverage of choice before watching these.

Nothing fancy, but a lot of photos.

Andy-
I chose a vodka martini. However, I ended up drinking 3 of them in order to get through all the pics and videos. so, the hangover will be entirely your fault.
Looked like a terrific/fun fly-in.
Freaky that the fire coals came out fuschia in the videos.
John - the photos and google earth track image are all from the south side.
