Saturday the 16th- Box is the call

My quick look this morning says Box is the place to go tomorrow.
PG or HG in the afternoon.

Probably a bit strong in the mid afternoon for PG. Might calm down enough.

When the weather will allow it... I am in, would be great if I could fly the day before heading back.

I'm free to fly all weekend if wx permits. Really wanted to go to South Mtn in Phx but that's a south site. I'll check here tomorrow am.

Evening Update

The forecast for tomorrow is looking strong NW - too strong for the bag wings. Box might be ok for the stiffies but the road could well be closed with snow. I'll recheck the weather in the morning, but Sunday is looking like a better bet.

Fred,
I'd tend to agree- given the current prediction.

Morning Update

Not much change in the forecast this morning except that the clouds are persisting later than predicted. Tomorrow or Monday (for those who have it off) look like the best bets for flying.

north launch on south mt is better in wind than the south side. its a very smooth side for ridge soaring and glass offs late afternoon.
