Sunday flying report


Mark, Charlie, and me (Irena) +Shadow together with Irena’s guest from New York Roustem, were on LZ around 4pm. It was strong and nice breeze northwest west. We hiked up ant around five pm were on the second knoll. It was very good wind that switches between West and North West around 8-10mph. Mark launch first from south launch and had a good launch and 20 min of flight. Charlie launch second from north launch and also were successful. He got a very nice flight around 20 min. While I prepared my paraglider to launch wind became much stronger as before, I did launch and did exactly the same mistake as last time and were drug out from the launch. Nothing serious, I just was scared. The wind were calm down, but I could not get myself launch for the second time, so I hiked down together with Roustem and Shadow, who was obviously disappointed that I did not get air time. I need to learn how to launch in the high wind… In whole it was a good day for flight in Box. Bytheway Charlie got his first flight in Arizona!!!!!
