Aloha everyone,
I am on the Big Island, not Oahu where there are more sites. In any case I need to focus my attention on other things these days. My gear is still for sale and will be available when I return to Tucson in April. It is in storage there.

I am going to the Big Island of Hawaii. I don't know if I will be paragliding any more. No one has expressed any interest in my gear for sale. It was fun having this great community of friendly pilots to fly with. Goodbye everyone! Much Lift, Allan Reaves My contact information will be at www.laught...

Complete Paragliding Package for small pilot - $995 / $1275
I'm giving up paragliding for now and want to sell my gear. I'm offering my PG, harness, reserve, and helmet together as a package for just $995. For an additional $280 I will include vario and radio. I have been very happy with the equipment and wouldn't want to sell it if I were still paragliding....

Miller flight reports for Sunday 4/30/06
John Wolfe and I got to the Paragliding launches about 9:15, with my friend Daena who drove down. There were light north cycles that were gradually building to peaks of about 15mph, just a little cross from the west at times. I was elected to fly first, and took off at 10:07. I found lift immediatel...

Miller Sunday
John and I are planning to meet in Sonoita at 7:15, and be at the LZ at 8:00. We have a driver. (The sun rises at 5:38a; we baggies want to be at launch by 9:00) Anyone else?

Oatman
Is Oatman a good site for PG? There's no mention of baggies on the site description on the AHGA website.

Great Miller flights
Thanks to John, Eric, and to the thermals for the lifts, and thanks especially to the drivers. There’s not much left to say after those beautifully written reports… We had ten pilots come out (5PG, 5HG) and everyone with a wing got to fly. My max altitude was also 8400; that seemed to be sort of a c...

Baggies
I'd like to go. I've only had 4 flights and 3.5 hours at Miller, enough to feel OK being the only PG but I was hoping our mentor from Green Valley would be going too.

Spam
Hi John, Since spam is an ongoing problem, how about making the board so that only approved, logged-in users can post to it? This would also eliminate the problem of not being able to tell who wrote posts that are from pilots who did not log in and didn't remember to say who they were. Have you cons...
