AZHPA is sponsoring a holiday giving project. The description from Gingher's post on the AZHPA forum is below:

Hello Pilots!

It's that time of year again, when AZHPA pilots band together to help those in need. Once again we are working with Stand Up for Kids, the homeless youth shelter in Phoenix. Last year we were able to raise $600 for the kids, and we hope to do even better this year!

Please Paypal your donations to gingher@mesacc.edu, or bring your cash to the December meeting. We can also collect warm blankets and clothing at this meeting as well.

Last year the money was used to help kids buy bus passes for doctor's appointments, counseling, and job interviews. It was also used for household items and food. The kids are very appreciative of our help, and you can see many of them wearing the AZHPA shirts we donated last spring.
