Saturday's Soaring Predictor forecast for Miller is S5 until 11 AM, S9 until 2 PM, W14 later, with a top of lift around 19000. ADDS has the morming 6000' winds aloft as light and confusing, SW5 in the afternoon. Dr. Jack has the afternoon winds as SW 5-10 but he isn't helpful with morning winds. Jack's predicted top of lift for Miller is around 18k.
This is a low-pressure forecast (1011 mb AM, 1008 mb PM) so it will probably change by tomorrow morning. South is an ok launch direction for HG if it isn't strong, but unless it's very light it's not good for PG.
I'd like to take a shot at it. It could be a terrific day.
Anyone else interested?

If I can get some of the neighbors to help carry gliders out to launch, would you guys be interested in flying Mt. Lemmon with us.
I talked to them yesterday and he seemed willing to do that. Their not home right now but as soon as I find out, I will let you know about how many bodies we might have.
Let me know if your interested.

I met JLo at 7:00. We went to Orrin's house to meet up with Tucker and Raquel. Upon arrival at Miller Orrin took off first in just barely launchable conditions. Tucker waited for better cycles for about an hour and took off. JLo decided there was nothing that he was interested in at that point. We drove down and retrieved Orrin who had gone XC about 8 miles away. Tucker landed in the LZ for a flight just under 30 minutes. It was a good day and we were all home by 4:00.
