Jason and I are planning on going flying at Palomar and possibly surrounding sites in San Diego area. This site is a 6.5 hour drive from Tucson. We camp at the bail out LZ a third of the way up the mountain. Launch is big and is top landable. From camp to launch is an eight minute drive!!! Thermals tend to be on the gentle side with lots of landing options thru out the valley. Leaving Thursday April 19th- should be there for glass off. Fly and camp all weekend and go home late sunday. I could stay til Monday if anyone is interested.
