Mustang Tuesday, March 1 ?

Is anyone interested in Mustang on Tuesday, March 1? I will check the weather tomorrow and Tuesday morning before making a decision to go to Mustang.

I would really like to go. My sis just got here though, so it may be hard to swing. Does it still look like the weather'll cooperate? If so, what time do you suppose you'll be heading out?

The weather forecast now looks like it might be a bit too windy in the early afternoon , but nice for a glassoff. I plan on being at Houghton and I-10 at about 1PM unless Andy or Soren wants to meet me at a different time.

Andy, Soren and I got nice flights at Mustang on Tuesday, March 1. The wind was just as predicted - a bit too windy from the West until 4:30, and then ideal launch conditions (WSW to SW at 12 mph) after that. I launched first, followed by Andy and then Soren. There were good thermals and lift all over the mountain. Andy managed to fly to Bruno and back. He was VERY low when he arrived back at Mustang, but, in no time at all, he was back over the top of the mountain. Then he went XC almost to the Whetstones. Andy and Soren had hour plus flights and I got 42 minutes.
