"Weather permitting" I am planning to take a few students out to do some towing Saturday morning. More are welcome so let me know if you wanta come. We will be towing East of Panagonia at San Rafael Valley. I plan to get an early start (meeting at 7am at Sonoita Shell station) to get my students a flight or two before it gets to much for them. Ill prob be done around 2 or so so let know if your coming because I would be willing to stay a little longer.

I know its a long drive but its an easier site for newbies.

We will be on 151.925 and here is a google map where we plan to be.

It's early, but the forecast for Saturday looks promising.
I will plan to set a task for all who are interested, so let's plan to be there by 9:00 a.m. or so to push way points and discuss the task. Hopefully one or more of Aaron's students will hang around to chase us.

Please let me know if you want to ride with me.

I'll ride with you John, if you have room. Or we can take my car.

Ioan, I have plenty of space.
We can fit three more pilots into my vehicle without adding seats. If it looks like more will turn up, please let me know, and I'll add a seat in the back.
Right now, I'm leaning toward meeting at Houghton and I-10 (NW corner) around 7:45.

I am in! John, I will ride with you too if that's ok.

I'm also definitely game for flying a task.

I like how you think Dustin!

So people that have told me that they are coming are:
John W
Ioan
Mike S
Lane (he got a new harness and want to tow)
Mic
and possibly Ewan

plus about 3-4 students.

Should be fun!

Aaron and John, et al.

I'm planning on heading out too. Lovely area by the the looks of it!

Aaron: I hope one more is alright. Please let me know otherwise.

John: I just talked with Ewan, and it sounds like he, Mike and Ioan are planning to ride with you. Depending on the hassle of putting in another seat and if there'd still be space, or if I decide to drive separately (to visit some friends in the area after the flight), I guess I'll coordinate with you later today (via email or SMS) whether I'll ride with you or not.

Look forward to seeing you guys tomorrow.

Wow, I didn't know we had that many pilots in who could still locate their wings. :)

Andy is also planning to join us and has offered to chase us XC. We have confirmation from:
- Andy
- Ioan
- Ewan
- Mike S.
- Mic
- Colin
- Lane
- John W.

Clearly we need more than one vehicle headed down there. Mic is riding with me because he lives north of me. I'll also collect Ewan from home to prevent further wear on his dodgy car. It's probably best if the rest of you meet us at Houghton and I-10 with a plan to leave there by 7:45 a.m. We can then decide which vehicle(s) we want to take in addition to mine.

Colin that is fine.

I am meeting 4 students (Joe, Hugh, Jacob and Chris) at the gas station in Sonoita. Also Lane is meeting us there as well. If you need Ill be on 151.925 and i should be towing from the west end since wind is forecasted from east in the am. As the wind shifts we will move as needed.

What a fun big group. Look forward to it...
