Hi !
We will have three sunny days and the forecasts appear to be light wind (<8 mph), mostly East in the morning and North to West in the afternoon. If anybody plan to fly, I'm interested. Send me a message.
Thibault.

I could probably be persuaded to fly on Sunday. I'll have a look at the forecast and see what might work.

Being winter, not much lifting air is forecast within easy driving distance.
Either Box or Mustang could be nice. Mustang might be the better bet, as it could turn out to be ridge soarable with light thermals mixed in. South Mountain will almost certainly be launchable, but based on the forecast it is also nearly guaranteed to produce a sled ride. And there's towing.
So, the questions are:
How badly do you want to get out and fly?
Would you prefer to mix a little flying with a good bit (1 hour or so) of hiking or just drive to launch and maybe make a 30 minute hike?
Or, do you want to tow and fly multiple times?
Box and Mustang each require a hike. We can fly South Mountain without hiking at all, or we can hike 30 minutes either before or after we fly if we're so inclined. I'm guessing we can find someone to tow us into the air, but I'll need to start asking around.

Towing it is. Please let me know if you're interested, as we have a limited number of slots.

Sorry I should have checked this eairlier. I would have been interested. So what happened???
In the last week I got a 1/2hr light therm at both box and mustang. Johns right it does require a hike. I am planning to do some flying mid week this coming week. I'll send u a email when I decide.
