Not sure if you guys know, but Stutz and i have been working on getting our inst rating. We did a clinic with Rob this spring and have been apprenticing since. This week we got signed off.
We know we are not as seasoned as other instructors (being fresh off the chopping block). But we are committed to safety and sharing the joy of flight with other. Which we believe will grow this sport and this club.
Question: Does any one know of any good potential training hills in or around the Tucson area. We would be willing to talk to the land owners and take out insurance if needed. We will be getting a full time winch separate from the boat, and plan to do most of our training with that... But a good hill comes in really handy, and would benefit the club as well
Thanks
Aaron C.

Congratulations! It's great to have instructors in Tucson again.
Andy and I scouted the training hills near Sonoita and found a few that will work so long as you and your students don't mind hiking.
Check with Andy for details as he's actually used these hills a bit.
If you've not seen it yet, have a good look at Sean's SlingMachine (http://slingmachine.com/). I've been really impressed with the simplicity and reliability of this winch system.
