A few of us baggers are thinking about flying this weekend. Thinking about flying Saturday either at Box or Mt. Lemmon. Looking for fellow pilots to fly with and a cross country retrieve driver.
Might even be interested in flying Sunday.
Let us know if your interest

It was an interesting day with some rowdy air at times and some really smooth lift at others. Since we didn't have a driver, Ewan volunteered to fly to my house to get the retrieve vehicle, so he worked the house thermal (or got worked by it) while Andy and I headed north along the range.
I nearly dirted south of the gap so I fell behind clawing my way back up, and by the time I crossed the gap Andy was headed over the back of the northern extent of the range, heading SE. The next climb I found after crossing the gap was drifting east in a big way so after topping it I made the dash over the back at roughly the same place Andy did, but by then he was on the ground. After a buoyant crossing of the canyon I was greeted with a much stronger than anticipated lee-side sinkfest that took me from 9K to the dirt in short order. I landed near the Peppersauce Canyon Campground, about 3 miles NNW of Andy.
Andy caught a ride to the campground where we waited in the shade for Ewan to collect us. We're pretty sure Ewan had the most pleasant flight of the three, landing in the grassy school yard by my house after boating around for two hours or so.
The winds on launch were out of the NW, so we were wishing our aluminum-endowed friends and joined us for the day. It might have been just about right at the top launch.
