Aaron Cromer and I had a couple of great flights from our new site in the Catalinas last week. Lift was weak, to around 8000 MSL, but easy to find, and I climbed up over launch, then took off northwest. I flew over Putsch peak and out over Oro Valley, cruising downwind and finding sporadic lift. I landed in some empty lots that were somewhere northwest of John Wolfe's place. It was a great ~hour long flight and i'm guessing i travelled around 8-10 miles. If i can figure out how to post my flight track, i'll put it in the members only section soon.
