Free Coronado National Forest road maps

These things are huge, and have not only the forest roads we use, but a lot of them I had no idea even existed. There are separate maps for different forest units - Catalina/Rincon, Nogales/Sierra Vista, Safford and Douglas. The online versions of the maps split Nogales/Sierra Vista into eastern and western halves. A very nice resource for retreival, site exploration or 4wd.

Links to the maps online can be found here: http://www.fs.fed.us/r3/coronado/forest/maps/maps.shtml

Printed copies can be purchased at USFS offices.

Here's a sample, a clip of about 1/10 of the eastern Nogales/Santa Rita map that shows the area of Miller Canyon, from Rt 92 west to Parker Canyon lake.
