Dust Devil Season

Post by John Wolfe » Thu Mar 17, 2011 9:10 pm

Today, we had our windows and doors open, enjoying the lovely spring weather. When the trees all trembled, the ping pong table lurched across the patio, and the front door slammed shut, I was reminded that it's time for the annual post on dust devils.

As Morey said in the original post, "let's be careful out there."

Here's a video compilation on the topic: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q3QcMB2owFc

Please keep in mind:
1. Dust devils are more likely during the spring and summer than any other time of the year.
2. They don't always involve dust, and the invisible ones are every bit as destructive as their dusty cousins.
