I am interested if the predicted wind drops down from the forecast of 16 mph at 4 PM. I will recheck in the morning. There is nothing like a good glassoff at Mustang!

Both Sat and Sun look perfect for Mustang! Too bad I promised my daughter I'd take her to this Flying Circus thing...

My wife Sherry and I are also thinking of checking out the Arizona Flying Circus event at Mo Sheldon's near Maricopa on Saturday.

Considering that Mustang's wind tends to be stronger (often 50% stronger) than predicted and that it often tends to swing around to the north in the late afternoon, I like to see surface and also aloft winds from the SW at 10 or 11 mph maximum. Today's predictions are too strong and not quite from the SW until 5 PM. I don't trust the wind to go from 17 mph at about 290 degrees at 4 PM to 11 mph at about 260 degrees at 5 PM.
The bottom line is that I am not going flying today. However, weather predictions are not very accurate, and you could get a great flight!
