Today (Thursday) doesn't look good, so I am going to do chores this afternoon. I still hope to fly Friday and/or Saturday. Aaron Stutz also wants to fly. Is anyone else interested?

Ed,
I would love to fly with you, but my wing needs some maintenance. I hope to have it fixed up by Tuesday.
Yesterday was a good day at Box, but the four of us got a late start due to concern about rain. It took a long time to launch all four pilots, so the flights were not long. The air was perfect, about 10 to 12 mph from the NW, but coming straight up the North launch. The glassoff was very smooth, but not as buoyant as I expected. Even so, I could stay at launch level with a messed up wing. (I thought I had a line over, but something else was going on. This is the second time in the last 3 flights that I have had this problem. I am going to spread the wing out and do some detective work to get to the bottom of it.)
I hope you get a good flight today.

Thanks, Lew.
Not sure what I'm going to do yet. Thinking about the training hills for a little refresher, though.

Lew,

Feel free to give me a call if you want another set of eye to help you look at your wing.

I just want to thank Lew, Aaron and Ioan for taking me out to The Box on Friday. I enjoyed meeting all of you and had a pleasant and memorable flight into that picture-perfect Arizona sunset. Hope to fly with you again some time!
