2 HGs (Tom and Eric) and 2 PGs (Aaron and I) all managed to soar a bit, averaging probably 40 minutes per flight.
It felt like a high-pressure summer day with not a cloud in sight, but it was late September. There seemed to be a lid around 8500 and an inversion right around launch altitude. Many of the thermals I worked were pretty small, and toward the end of my flight they were small, strong, and punchy, so I took that as my cue to land which required some effort as the LZ was popping.
