Flying Sunday -Report

Post by Eric » Sun Dec 06, 2009 8:30 pm

We flew South Mt today.
The sky was overcast at times with just enough sunshine to form a few thermals
Several of my students flew with me, Andy launched first. He worked one thermal on his way to the school yard landing. It was switchy in the LZ he ended up landing to the North! Good thing we put up that windsock!
Davis got a great low save over the bailout LZ, to climb back above launch- twice!
Bill flew his eagle and soared above launch for several passes. They both had good landings in the school yard. I launched last and cored a good one to 1500 over eventually landing with them in the school yard.
Many PG pilots flew most soared or got a few hundred over launch.
Another great day at SOUTH MT!

Eric
